Ayurveda is the science of life that promotes a healthy lifestyle in a holistic way. It includes principles and practices that are in tune with the laws of nature and provides natural measures to maintain and restore health. Originating in India more than 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda is the first medical system for which there are records and is considered by the WHO as the most complete health system in existence. Through this workshop, we would like to provide you with this ancient knowledge with easy-to-make recipes to understand how what you eat impacts and thus take control of your diet to stay healthy throughout your life.

About Sara and Majo

Nourish your essence with Sara Shaikh, an Ayurvedic food specialist whose mission is to provide you with tools to live a holistic and balanced life despite the stresses of modern life.
Sara has supported many people in taking yoga beyond the mat with her coaching programmes, retreats, courses and Ayurvedic consultations.
Born in London to a Spanish mother and Pakistani father, Sara is a bridge between East and West.
With a clear vocation for communication, she now uses her background in journalism to offer a holistic wellness approach that combines the principles of Ayurveda with the philosophy of Bhakti Yoga.

Majo is an Ayurveda cooking teacher specialized in vegetarian, Vegan and rawfood nutrition. In 2006,  she began her studies in Nutrition at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and at the same time she dedicated her self to investigating other naturist branches outside the traditional program. Her completed professional training in live food at the hands of Adriana Nielsen (Director of Raw Club Orgánic Buenos Aires) and, with internationally certified Dr Aris Latham, as Chef Raw (Masterchef-Sunfired Food Scientist, jamaica).
In addition, she trained in Ayurveda Medicine at the Maimonides University and furthered her studies in India, at the PDI Institute (Prakash Deep Institute of Ayurveda and Yoga Sciences – Raiwala, India) where she was certified in Panchakarma, purifying therapy, Practice and theory of Ayurveda. 
She is currently finishing her training as an ashtanga yoga instructor.
